How it works

Talaqqi is learning face to face, from a teacher who hears you recite. The app makes that easy to arrange.

  1. Create your free account

Sign up with your phone number and a PIN. No payment details, ever.

  2. Take the placement test

Record your recitation in the app. A reviewer listens and places you at the right level.

  3. Book a class

Choose a tutor and a time that suits you, online or in person. Your tutor confirms it.

  4. Grow level by level

Attend your classes, take short tests and move up when you're ready.

Four kinds of class, three levels

Our Quran classes are Memorisation, Revision, Tilawah and Qiraat. What you take depends on your level, and every class is private: tutors take their students one after another.

Stay with a favourite tutor or change to a more convenient one at any time.

  • Level 1Memorisation · Qiraat
  • Level 2Tilawah · Memorisation
  • Level 3Memorisation · Revision

Programmes and events

Alongside the classes, the academy runs programmes for the whole community. Upcoming dates appear in the app.

  • Special Revision Program

  • Quran Inkling Event

  • Cognitive Excitation through Quran Recitation

  • Motivational Stories of the Sahabah

Safe for every learner

Children and adults learn here, so safety is built into how the app works, not added on.

  • Tutors who match you

You're matched with tutors of your own gender.

  • Verified tutors for children

Under-18s only learn with identity-verified tutors, and only online.

  • Parents are asked first

A parent or guardian agrees before a child can book a class.

  • Report and block

Anyone can report or block someone. Our safety team reviews every report.

  • Your data stays private

Contact details are shared only for a confirmed class. You can download or delete your data.

  • No ads, no payments

Nothing to buy and nothing sold. The academy runs for the sake of Allah.
